May 2007 - "FELTING ON DENIM"

I was volunteered to teach a FELTING ON DENIM class May 2007 to the Embellishment Group (E-Belles) at Sun City Summerlin. 

These are photos of my students and their creations. The class lasted about 3 hours. I provided each student with a bag filled with different colors of fleece, felting needles, and foam. Most of them had taken my WOVEN TAPESTRY AND NEEDLE FELTED DOLL class before and had a Clover Felting Needle Tool. I had them experiment with the Clover Felting Mat and they found it was great to use when felting on the denim.
