My Grandchildren Summer 2007 View fullsize This is the latest photo of Gedalya, age 14, Devorah, age 11, Chaya Nessa, age 4, and Yaakov Zev, about 16 months. View fullsize Chaya Nessa is 4 years old. I precut strips of flannel fabric for her and she sewed them together to form this quilt. View fullsize This is a photo of me and my teddy. I finally made a teddy that reminded me of the one I had when I was a little girl. You can see my grandchildren holding the one I made. View fullsize Devorah, age 11, cut her own strips of flannel fabric with a rotary cutter and sewed them together to make a quilt. She didn’t have that much time to make more squares so she made a larger border for her quilt. She says she wants to start a craft business and hopefully will sell this quilt. View fullsize Devorah and I took a class with teacher Vida Williams and the “Hello Dollies” doll club in Sun City Summerlin, Las Vegas, Nevada on June 28, 2007. Devorah did her own cutting, sewing, stuffing, painting and everything else to make this baby doll. View fullsize Somehow things seem to run full circle. When I was in Junior High School I made many pictures using the technique called tufting which still hang on my bedroom wall. Now the craft has returned many, many, many years later and is called needle punch. My 11 year old granddaughter Devorah has developed a love for this technique. This is the first picture that she has punched. View fullsize Gedalya, age 14, is holding his brother, Yaakov Zev, age 19 months, and Teddy.
