My Students
March 23, April 11 & 14, 2023 — Lorraine Blume
These pictures are from my "Introduction to Weaving" class. By the time my students finish, their sampler has 60 different patterns in it. I give them each a loose leaf notebook with all the instructions in it and they can always go back afterwards and see what they have learned and weave again.

Cross and warp are tied.
Warp is through the lease sticks.
Lease sticks are placed into the cross and then tied onto the loom. Warp is placed into spaces on the raddle and then wound onto the back of the loom.
Beautiful warp.
Front view - Raddle spaces the warp nicely.

Following the pattern.
You weave from one side to the other side with your shuttle or shuttles.
Pressing the levers on the loom in a particular order forms the pattern once the loom is warped.
Looking good.
Progress is made.
Great job.
